Discovery / Pathways

The Discovery Program is a licensed school-age child care center that serves students who are enrolled in Clay County Schools. Students who are of school age and enrolled in Clay County primary and elementary schools are eligible to attend. The purpose of the program is to provide quality child care for working parents / guardians who work during the after school hours and during the summer break from school. The Discovery Program provides a safe place where students are well supervised and have the opportunity to participate in activities that support their academic, social, cultural and physical development. The Discovery Program is licensed by the North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services – Division of Child Development and Early Education.
