  • Beginning License teachers will have the opportunity to be approved for a Continuing License after the third full year or teaching experience.

  • All certified teachers with a Continuing License are on a 5-year renewal cycle.
    • K-6 Classroom & Exploratory Teachers must earn:
      • 3.0 CEUs or 30 contact hours of training in Literacy
      • 3.0 CEUS or 30 contact hours of training in their content area taught
      • 2.0 CEUs or 20 contact hours of training in Digital Learning Competencies (DLCs)

    • 6-12 Classroom & Exploratory Teachers:
      • 3.0 CEUS or 30 contact hours of training in their content area taught
      • 3.0 CEUS or 30 contact hours of training in any general training
      • 2.0 CEUs or 20 contact hours of training in Digital Learning Competencies (DLCs)
    • Student Services Personnel:
      • 3.0 CEUS or 30 contact hours of training in their professional discipline area
      • 3.0 CEUS or 30 contact hours of training in any general training
      • 2.0 CEUs or 20 contact hours of training in Digital Learning Competencies (DLCs)
    • Administrators
      • 3.0 CEUS or 30 contact hours of training in Executive's Role/Educational Leadership
      • 3.0 CEUS or 30 contact hours of training in any general training
      • 2.0 CEUs or 20 contact hours of training in Digital Learning Competencies (DLCs)
