License Renewal Requirements
- Beginning License teachers will have the opportunity to be approved for a Continuing License after the third full year or teaching experience.
- All certified teachers with a Continuing License are on a 5-year renewal cycle.
- K-6 Classroom & Exploratory Teachers must earn:
- 3.0 CEUs or 30 contact hours of training in Literacy
- 3.0 CEUS or 30 contact hours of training in their content area taught
- 2.0 CEUs or 20 contact hours of training in Digital Learning Competencies (DLCs)
- 6-12 Classroom & Exploratory Teachers:
- 3.0 CEUS or 30 contact hours of training in their content area taught
- 3.0 CEUS or 30 contact hours of training in any general training
- 2.0 CEUs or 20 contact hours of training in Digital Learning Competencies (DLCs)
- Student Services Personnel:
- 3.0 CEUS or 30 contact hours of training in their professional discipline area
- 3.0 CEUS or 30 contact hours of training in any general training
- 2.0 CEUs or 20 contact hours of training in Digital Learning Competencies (DLCs)
- Administrators:
- 3.0 CEUS or 30 contact hours of training in Executive's Role/Educational Leadership
- 3.0 CEUS or 30 contact hours of training in any general training
- 2.0 CEUs or 20 contact hours of training in Digital Learning Competencies (DLCs)
- K-6 Classroom & Exploratory Teachers must earn:
